About Our Team

We are seeking a highly skilled engineer to join our team in Maroochydore, Queensland.

This role involves design management of building services including mechanical, electrical, hydraulics and fire engineering.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Design Management: Participate in the design management process ensuring emerging documentation meets required specifications, budgets and programs for construction and installation.
  2. Consultant Coordination: Coordinate with engineering consultants and subcontractors.
  3. Cost Optimization: Identify cost savings opportunities and assist with product selection and problem-solving.
  4. Documentation Review: Review all documentation for adequacy of design input.
  5. Construction Monitoring: Monitor progress and quality of construction and plant installation on site.
  6. Project Handover: Participate in the handover and commissioning of the project.


Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar field.
  • Experience in coordinating mechanical and/or electrical design, construction and installation activities.
  • Ability to communicate, influence and build effective relationships at all levels of the business environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously using initiative, sound reasoning, listening and decision-making skills.
