Permanent Delivery Driver Position

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable driver to fulfill multi-drop deliveries of quality meat products.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Making accurate, efficient, and timely deliveries of stock to customers.
  • Responsible for a refrigerated vehicle, ensuring safe transportation of goods.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Loading and unloading delivery stock manually or with the assistance of equipment (average 18kg cartons).
  • Adhering to company procedures inclusive of HACCP and OH&S policies.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A valid MR Drivers license and a clean driving record.
  • Experience with multi-drop deliveries (average 14 - 22 drops per day).
  • Cold Storage Food Warehouse industry experience is an advantage.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Criminal Background Check.
  • A safe place to park the vehicle at home or opt to leave it onsite.

This role offers:

  • A regular day shift schedule from Monday to Friday, averaging 38 hours per week.

Requirements:

  • A minimum MR Licence.
  • Australia Work Authorisation.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Previous experience as a Delivery Driver, preferably in a multi-drop environment.
  • Experience working in a Cold Storage Environment, preferably for at least 1 year.

Key Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Physical ability to load and unload goods.

Working Conditions:

  • Work is based in Prestons, with an option to take the vehicle home.
  • Work hours: Monday to Friday, average hours from 6am to 3pm.
