Join our team as a Surgical Technology Specialist

We're seeking a seasoned professional to play a key role in advancing orthopaedic surgery through cutting-edge robotic technology.

The successful candidate will have a strong clinical background and a passion for surgical innovation, with experience in fields such as orthopaedic clinical support, biomedical science/engineering, medical device experience, operating theatre nursing/registered nursing experience, physiotherapy or allied health with surgical exposure, human movement or anatomy specialists with clinical experience.

  • Serving as the in-theatre expert for Mako-assisted procedures, providing technical and clinical guidance to surgeons and theatre staff.
  • Collaborating with surgical teams to ensure optimal use of the Mako robotic platform during joint replacement surgeries.
  • Conducting pre-operative CT-based planning and segmentation to assist in surgical case preparation.
  • Maintaining a high level of knowledge in orthopaedic surgical techniques, anatomy, and robotic technology.
  • Providing ongoing training and clinical support to hospital staff and surgical teams.
  • Traveling across Sydney and surrounding areas to support multiple hospital sites.

This is a full-time, permanent position based in Melbourne's South/South East suburbs. The ideal candidate will be part of a high-performing, collaborative team that is focused on innovation and improving patient outcomes.
