Aquatic Program Overview

The Aquatic Program Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping an inclusive and dynamic aquatic program that fosters water safety, skill development, and a passion for swimming. This role is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the delivery of the Learn to Swim program, including scheduling, class levels and progression systems.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee the delivery of the Learn to Swim program
  • Document lesson plans, including key risk assessments
  • Monitor and review programs and make recommendations for improvements
  • Prepare rosters and manage staff availability

This role requires a strong focus on water safety, skill development, and customer service. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in swim school program delivery and staff coordination.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety qualification (or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated experience in swim school program delivery and staff coordination
  • Current CPR and First Aid Certificate
  • Current positive Working with Children Check
  • National Pool Lifeguard certificate
