TTW is seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to lead our specialist timber team in Sydney. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality engineering solutions to clients across various sectors.

With over 65 years of consulting experience, TTW has established itself as a leader in the industry, delivering award-winning projects that showcase technical excellence.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering design, with a focus on mass timber structures. You will be expected to lead small teams, manage projects autonomously, and develop relationships with clients to drive business growth.

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits, including flexible work arrangements, ongoing training and development, and company-paid parental leave.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A tertiary engineering qualification from an Australian university
  • 6-9 years of local experience in structural engineering design
  • Membership with Engineers Australia, with CPEng / NER registration desirable
  • Demonstrated experience in prestressed concrete, steel design, and reinforced concrete
  • Ideal experience in designing mass timber structures, with a willingness to train the right candidate
  • Experience working in a consulting engineering office, with a range of project types and sizes
  • Demonstrated experience in commercial, residential, government, and/or public buildings and retail
  • Knowledge and understanding of Australian regulatory requirements and design standards
  • An understanding of the design and certification of mass timber projects using Eurocodes is desirable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and manage a small team
