Job Title

A unique opportunity exists for qualified professionals to join our team as a Mental Health Professional in a full-time or part-time capacity.

This role will provide the successful applicant with the chance to expand their skillset whilst working with a diverse range of clients, including children and adults, older persons, people with drug and alcohol issues.

The role involves traveling to various culturally diverse communities across Northern Queensland regions, covering a lot of distance and working in challenging yet memorable environments.

As a Mental Health Professional, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives, allowing clients to receive treatment locally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing mental health services to clients across Northern Queensland regions.
  • Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve best practice outcomes.
  • Expanding your skillset through ongoing professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Current registration with AHPRA.
  • Registration with AASW (if applying as a Social Worker).
  • Suitable professions include Registered Psychologists, Mental Health Certified Nurses, Mental Health Accredited Social Workers, and Mental Health OTs.
