Senior Mental Health Specialist Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Mental Health Specialist to join our team in Townsville, North Queensland.


Job Description:

The successful applicant will provide specialist mental health services to patients in a large territory care hospital and referral centre. The role involves working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.

The hospital has 671 beds and offers a wide range of medical services, including cardiac, obstetric, gynaecological, paediatric, neurosurgical, orthopaedic, cancer, mental health, neonatal, allied health, anaesthetic and intensive care services.


Requirements:

  • Specialist registration with AHPRA or eligible for substantially comparable registration
  • Fellowship of the relevant Royal Australian Medical College or equivalent
