About This Role

This is an exciting opportunity for you to lead the development of new assets connecting to a high-voltage network.

As a key member of our team, you will be accountable for overseeing the entire asset lifecycle, from concept development to operations and maintenance. You will collaborate with stakeholders to develop optimised solutions and strategies for network developments across all aspects of the asset lifecycle.

Your expertise will help us make informed decisions about network developments, ensuring that we meet the needs of our customers and communities while driving innovation and efficiency in our operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the commercial and technical development of new network developments across the entire asset lifecycle
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop optimised solutions and asset strategies
  • Liaise with external stakeholders and internal teams to achieve optimal network development and asset outcomes
  • Provide specialist advice on risk management, regulatory compliance, and technical matters

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in High Voltage Substation and Transmission Line technical roles across the asset lifecycle
  • Demonstrated experience in the application of risk management to support asset management decision making and regulatory compliance
  • Working knowledge in applying and managing regulatory and compliance requirements relating to asset management of high voltage transmission network
  • Ability to apply both technical and commercial evaluation of options for network developments and input to financial modelling
