Job Opportunity: Cloud Engineering Professional

Overview:

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled cloud engineering professional to join our Infrastructure and Cloud Operations team. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the development of solution delivery platforms supporting web-based applications on the latest cloud technologies within a Dev Sec Ops culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain automation frameworks leveraging CI/CD processes, automated testing, unit testing, code coverage, and other software development best practices.
  • Contribute to reusable automation scripts, libraries, services, and tools to increase system and process efficiencies.
  • Collaborate with security teams to review and understand new industry security threats, technologies, and address vulnerabilities promptly.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational excellence by increasing efficiency and reducing risk, complexity, waste, and cost.
  • Work with stakeholders to establish technical direction and negotiate decisions to drive innovative solutions.
  • Lead technical design and validation, ensuring implementation aligns with strategic business goals.
  • Develop architectural designs for scalable, robust, 24x7 environments and applications.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience with cloud technologies (Microsoft Azure) and understanding of SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS models.
  • Experience building high-performance, scalable, robust, 24x7 environments and applications.
  • Proficiency in scripting or automation with Perl, PowerShell, Python, TCL/TK, Ruby, or similar (PowerShell preferred).
  • Availability to support production incidents or key customer events on a 24x7x365 basis.
  • Ability to develop secure, high-quality, operable code at scale.
