Risk and Governance Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk and Governance Manager to join our team at Aged Care GP. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading and directing Quality Systems across Medical & Aged Care Group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, direct and integrate Quality Systems across Medical & Aged Care Group in consultation with the General Manager.
- Support Home Managers in achieving compliance with Accreditation Standards and all governance requirements, and attend Site Audits by Aged Care Quality & Safety Commission.
- Identify trends of improvement as well as gaps in compliance and make appropriate recommendations to the General Manager and relevant Executive Managers.
- Conduct Workplace Investigations in consultation and collaboration with Managers and the People & Culture Manager.
- Monitor and ensure training solutions are optimized to ensure a skilled workforce.
Requirements:
- Current National Police Certificate that satisfies the requirements of the Aged Care Act and guiding principles.
- High level of verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of Quality Systems Management and Risk Management Systems.
- High level of statistical analysis with relevant computer skills.
- Relevant experience and a genuine interest and commitment to the holistic well-being of the elderly, including an ability to empathize and understand their needs.
- Demonstrated leadership and decision-making skills.
- AHPRA Registration, Clinical / Nursing background an advantage.
- Knowledge relating to AN-ACC and associated documentation requirements an advantage.
- Experience in a similar role for minimum 3 years.
