About this Role

  • Empower resident choice and participation in individual and group activities by encouraging a vibrant lifestyle.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design, deliver and monitor group and individual lifestyle services and activities that cater to diverse interests.
  • Develop innovative events and lifestyle activities that foster engagement among residents, volunteers and the wider community.
  • Provide direct care during activities like bus trips, ensuring personal hygiene and toileting needs are met.
  • Assist with meal services, mobility and social support to promote overall well-being.
  • Support peers and maintain a positive team dynamic through open communication and collaboration.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • A compassionate attitude and genuine passion for delivering high-quality care to seniors.
  • Effective communication skills and a positive outlook.
  • Certificate III or Cert IV in Leisure and Health or Individual Support or similar qualifications.
  • Ability to build professional relationships with residents and their families.
  • Reliable team player with a commitment to respecting resident values and preferences.
  • Willingness to obtain necessary clearances.
