About the Role:
This role involves planning and managing the implementation of minor capital works safely, efficiently, and satisfying budget, quality, and program expectations. The successful candidate will apply best practice principles to project management, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and/or legislation. They will also respond to and follow up all stakeholder queries, requests for maintenance, and status of approved works in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plans and manages the implementation of minor capital works safely, efficiently, and satisfies budget, quality, and program expectations.
* Applies best practice principles to project management, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and/or legislation.
* Responds to and follows up all stakeholder queries, requests for maintenance, and status of approved works in a timely manner.
* Undertakes school site visits to scope school needs and external party requirements.
* Works on-site while work is undertaken to ensure the Principal is supported in managing property projects.
* Provides accurate reporting to meet deadlines pertaining to facilities work and longer-term projects.
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualifications in Architecture, Project Management, or related discipline and demonstrated professional experience in facilities management.
* NSW Work Cover White Card.
* WWCC.
* Current NSW driver's licence.
