About the RoleThe Early Childhood Educator plays a crucial role in delivering quality early childhood health, education, and care to children based on the Abecedarian Approach Australia (3a). This position can be full-time or part-time and focuses on implementing a culturally rich environment that includes the use of Aboriginal languages, games, activities, and songs.
Key Responsibilities- Support the delivery of high-quality early childhood services.
- Implement a culturally sensitive and engaging program for children.
- Collaborate with the Child Health and Development Centre team to achieve common goals.
- Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
- Cert III or Diploma in Children's Services or equivalent as recognized by ACECQA.
- Proven ability to demonstrate knowledge of child development and learning principles.
- Ability to contribute to a collaborative team environment.
- NT Drivers Licence or ability to obtain one.
- Competitive salary range: $53,859 - $62,478 per annum.
- Total effective package: $70,308 - $80,006 per annum.
