Lead Home Lending Operations Specialist

In this leadership role, you will oversee a team of professionals responsible for delivering high-quality home lending services. Your primary focus will be on ensuring efficient workflows, supporting your team members, and guaranteeing accurate settlements within the stipulated timeframes.
You will be responsible for monitoring team performance, evaluating daily operations, and providing coaching to improve performance. Your expertise in workforce planning, resource management, and performance improvement will be invaluable in driving business success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Oversee a team of 12-15 Operations Officers, guiding them in achieving operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Workflow Management: Ensure seamless workflow execution, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective measures.
- Performance Evaluation: Review team member performance, provide constructive feedback, and develop strategies for growth and development.
- Customer Satisfaction: Foster strong relationships with customers, addressing complex complaints promptly, and ensuring swift resolutions.
Requirements:
To succeed in this position, you will need:
- At least 3 years of leadership experience in Financial Services or a related industry, with expertise in workforce planning, resource management, coaching, and performance improvement.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Operations, with a deep understanding of home lending and settlements, including cross-state requirements.
- Knowledge of home settlement platforms such as PEXA, with experience in Dye & Durham and LendFast being advantageous.
- Ability to lead change, influence across departments, and represent your team in strategic discussions.
- Diploma in leadership or a related financial services field.
