Job Description

As a senior workshop manager, you will oversee all aspects of tanker repairs, servicing, and maintenance. This rare opportunity to lead a premier tanker repair workshop in Western Australia offers a high salary, career stability, and progression in a thriving industry.

Requirements

For this role, we are seeking an experienced professional with the following qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a senior mechanical or fabrication workshop management role.
  • Proven leadership skills, including the ability to manage complex projects and teams.
  • Expertise in heavy vehicle repairs, mechanical servicing, and fabrication.
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, job costing, and cost control.
  • Hands-on experience with scheduling, production planning, and workforce management.
  • Technical knowledge of AS2809, OH&S, and heavy vehicle modification standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/job tracking software.
  • A strong safety mindset and thorough understanding of compliance regulations.

  • Acting as the primary contact for clients, ensuring service excellence and strong stakeholder relationships.
