Hitachi Energy seeks an experienced Service Sales Application Engineer to join their team in Perth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Service Sales Manager and Front-End Sales Team to promote digital services, focusing on installed base penetration and selling the entire service product portfolio in collaboration with other service units.
  • Build long-term customer relationships and ensure immediate response to specific customer needs and issues.
  • Engage with existing and prospective customers to identify opportunities and solicit orders, analyzing customers' needs to recommend solutions that best meet their requirements.
  • Participate in negotiations with customers on technical, contractual, and commercial content of proposals and provide information on the risk review process in accordance with company policy.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • More than 3 years of sales experience in the energy industry, particularly in electrification projects, transmission & distribution, or utility/transmission developer experience.
  • Proven track record of client engagement in the electrical industry, specifically transformers, and previous experience or knowledge of transformer service, maintenance, commissioning, repair, and spare parts.
  • Familiarity with digital solutions for transformers, especially exposure to Hitachi Energy's digital portfolio, is desirable.
