Truck Fleet Diesel Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Fleet Diesel Technician to join our team at Driver Hire.
This is a full-time permanent position, working Monday to Friday 7am-3pm with opportunities for overtime.
Our fleet comprises of a variety of high-quality trucks including Volvo, Kenworth, MACK, Freightliners, and Isuzu's, as well as trailers, forklifts, and utility vehicles that require regular servicing and maintenance.
The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet, ensuring they are in excellent working condition.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A relevant trade qualification in diesel mechanics
- A forklift license would be advantageous but not essential
- Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and management
- Trustworthy and take pride in your work
- Electrical experience and proficiency in diagnostic tools
