About the Role

This full-time position involves working with adults living in residential aged care sites, providing dysphagia and communication assessment and intervention services. The successful candidate will be part of a close-knit national team of Speech Pathologists who are passionate about delivering high-quality care to clients.

Your Responsibilities

  • Managing your calendar of appointments and providing flexible work arrangements to suit your needs.
  • Assessing and diagnosing swallowing and communication difficulties in adults living in residential aged care sites.
  • Potential for national travel to support clients in regional locations.
  • Providing telehealth-based dysphagia and/or communication assessment and intervention services.
  • Liaising with organisational staff, support coordinators and colleagues to ensure optimum care needs are met.
  • Advocating for support for clients with communication difficulties.
