Join us as a Senior Speech Pathologist in the Shoalhaven This paediatric position is an opportunity to work with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families, empowering children and supporting the development of their communication and confidence $56.68 - $58.52 per hour + 11.5% super & salary packaging | Temporary Part Time 20 hours per week | Nowra Child and Family Health Service | REQ579952 | Grade: Speech Pathologist Level3 | Applications close: 31 July 2025 This is a temporary parental leave relief position until 2 August 2026 with the possibility of an extension at same or reduced hours. This is an exciting opportunity for a Level 3 Speech Pathologist to join the Binji and Boori (Aboriginal Maternal Infant Child Health) Service delivering high-quality assessment and intervention to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children aged 0–5 years across the Shoalhaven. The service works with families from conception through to 5 years of age, offering early intervention to promote optimal child development and wellbeing. The position forms part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team (MDT). The successful applicant will provide culturally safe, evidence-based care to young children with complex communication needs, working in close partnership with families, carers, and community supports. The service uses a holistic, family-centred approach and includes a range of service delivery methods. This position is also integrated into the Child and Family Speech Pathology team and has access to clinical supervision and support from experienced Speech Pathologists. Applicable vaccination requirements for a Category A role Working With Children Check (WWCC) Tertiary degree in speech pathology (or equivalent) with eligibility for practicing membership of speech pathology Australia.Extensive post graduate experience working with aboriginal and Torres Strait islander populations.
