About the Role

The Network Services group is seeking a Compliance Officer for a 12-month fixed-term contract with potential to become permanent.

This position is responsible for obtaining consent and permit approval with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance.

The Compliance Officer will be a key member of the Planning and Performance team and is expected to assist and add value to process improvement and communication.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review Works Program to identify projects requiring approval, consent or permit for completion.
  • Support business in developing awareness programs.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders regarding exemptions.
  • Update and develop stakeholder networks to review and improve program delivery.
  • Contribute to a culture focused on workplace continuous improvement.
  • Actively support new or modified processes.
  • Maintain information accuracy within the work program.
  • Contribute to regular reporting forums to review work programs and project progress.

Requirements:
  • Completion of VCE or Certificate III in Business Administration.
  • Document management skills.
  • High attention to detail with ability to prioritise time-critical outcomes.
  • Working knowledge of electricity distribution network.
  • Commitment to health and safety.
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to understand and interpret applicable legislation and codes of practice.
