Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a variety of clients, including owners, start-up builders, and major volume builders. You will be a trusted advisor across a range of matters, including reviewing and advising on building contracts, managing contract and defective works disputes, representing clients in mediations, conciliations, and settlement negotiations, handling VCAT and DBDRV disputes, assisting with home warranty and insurance claims, and drafting compliance manuals for building contracts.

You will have the freedom to work independently, backed by excellent admin support, premium resources, and a stable, respectful work environment. The firm strikes a balance between empowering you to work at your own pace and being part of a down-to-earth team that values career growth and community.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong litigation experience, ideally in building & construction law
  • Experience across Supreme, County, Magistrates' Court and / or VCAT
  • Practical, client-focused problem-solving skills
  • LEAP experience (preferred but not essential)
