Overview
- We are seeking an experienced Ecological Consultant to join our team in Queensland. As part of our national Ecology and Environmental Services group, you will contribute to a diverse portfolio of natural resource management and infrastructure projects for public and private sector clients.
- Your primary responsibilities will include providing expert ecological advice on various infrastructure and natural resource management projects, conducting desktop and field-based ecological surveys and impact assessments, preparing high-quality technical reports, environmental analyses, and mapping outputs.
Requirements:
- A degree in Ecology, Botany, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Strong identification skills in Queensland flora, fauna, and ecological communities.
- At least 2 years of post-graduate experience in consulting, construction, or regulatory environments.
- Familiarity with Queensland Regional Ecosystem and Biocondition frameworks (or working towards).
- GIS and field mapping tool experience; proficiency in MS Office.
