About the Role

As a lifestyle coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the lives of our residents by developing and managing various programs and events that cater to their diverse interests and needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement individualized programs based on resident preferences, goals, and well-being to enhance their physical, intellectual, emotional, cultural, and social development.
  • Lead and participate in the delivery of engaging activities that foster a sense of community and connection among residents.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of residents to identify their needs and preferences.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of resident participation and engagement.
  • Coach and manage the lifestyle team to deliver exceptional service and quality activities.
  • Support the orientation and training of new team members and volunteers.
  • Foster strong relationships with residents, families, and volunteers.
  • Facilitate opportunities for residents to engage with the broader community.
What You Bring:
  • Proven understanding of leisure and lifestyle programming principles and Aged Care Quality Standards.
  • Certificate IV in Leisure and Health.
  • Previous experience in a lifestyle assistant/coordinator position (or similar), including dementia care.
  • Experience using a computerized care management system (desired) and excellent computer literacy skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
