We are currently seeking a skilled **Property Maintenance Officer** for our Hocart Aged Care Facility** **in Harvey on a part-time basis (4 days per week)**,** who will be responsible for the day to day maintenance of the home including all home amenities, lawn management, garden maintenance, maintaining inventories, caring for equipment and performing the home preventative maintenance program.

**To be successful in this position you will possess the following**:

- Trade Qualification (desirable but not essential)
- Drivers Licence and access to a motor vehicle
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures and repairs
- Hands on understanding of property maintenance work and procedures
- Flexible and innovative approach to problem solving with the ability to prioritise workload
- Well presented with a helping, positive, empathetic and patient attitude
- Commitment to continuous improvement and Occupational Health & Safety Principles
- Self-starter with the ability to work both alone and as part of a team
- Compassionate, dedicated and caring nature with the ability to build strong rapport with consumers
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and have received this year’s influenza vaccination
- Full Australian working rights
