Job Overview

This leadership position is focused on the growth and development of Allied Health services.

The role involves leading and advocating for the development of Outpatient and Inpatient Rehabilitation and Acute Services.

The successful applicant will have experience in Business Development and a passion for promoting and growing services both within the organization and externally to the community.

Key responsibilities include providing clinical and operational direction to each discipline, including Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Social Work, Psychology and Dietetics.

The role is responsible for the efficient running of the service and the delivery of exceptional patient experiences and care.

Effective leadership, governance and relationship management are essential in achieving high-quality patient and quality outcomes in a resource-efficient manner.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the team through positive role modelling
  • Be highly accountable, respectful, supportive and engaging
  • Be flexible in approach and show compassion and empathy to patients and their families
  • Drive organisational initiatives to improve outcomes for patients, families, doctors and staff
  • Work collaboratively with a broad range of internal & external stakeholders
Requirements

To be successful in this role you must have proven leadership skills, previous experience in managing Outpatient Clinics is highly regarded but not essential.

A post graduate qualification is desirable but not essential. However, a natural ability to drive organisational initiatives to improve outcomes is required.
