About the Role

Aveo is seeking a skilled Maintenance Gardener to join our team at Redlands by the Retirement Resort. As a Maintenance Gardener, you will be responsible for ensuring the gardens, grounds, buildings, and fixtures are well-maintained, presentable, and safe for all to enjoy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend to various maintenance requests to create a safe and pleasant environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
  • Be responsible for the maintenance of all village gardens, including weeding, mowing, hedging, pruning, mulching, and green waste removal.
  • Ensure all community spaces are appealing and safe for our community and visitors.
  • Carry out preventative maintenance tasks around the community as per schedules.
  • Complete additional ad-hoc tasks delegated to you by Community Leaders.
  • Build strong relationships with our residents and enjoy helping them to live their best lives with well-maintained areas.

Requirements

  • A warm and caring personality with an interest in making a difference every day.
  • Experience in general maintenance roles or possess 'handy' domestic repair skills (highly desired).
  • Experience in Gardening duties (highly desired).
  • Current Police Check certificate (required, but if you do not possess, we can complete for you).
  • Valid driver's licence (required).
  • Two COVID-19 Vaccinations (required).
