About the Role

Skyline Landscape Services is seeking skilled and reliable individuals to join our QLD team as Mowing Team Members.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance works in council-controlled roadsides and laneways.

This is a mobile crew role, requiring you to work on different sites each day, across the Redland Bay local area. You will be mowing or brushcutting council-controlled roadsides and verges, working in a team with a team leader and often meeting at a central location before traveling to site together.

Hourly rates are above award and dependent on experience.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain council-controlled roadsides and laneways through mowing, brushcutting, detailing, and litter removal.
  • Apply herbicide via backpack sprayer, ensuring accurate and safe application.
  • Complete daily reporting of serviced sites, providing accurate and timely information.
  • Monitor and report any issues that may impact service delivery, ensuring the highest level of quality and safety.
  • Ensure all documentation and reporting related to the task performed, including risk assessments, SWMS, pre-start inspections, timesheets, etc., are completed as required.

About You
  • Ability to operate Zero Turn Mowers, brushcutters, and backpack blowers
  • Previous industry experience, preferably in parks and gardens or horticulture
  • Current and valid manual driver's license
