We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Worker to join our team at Uniting St Andrews in Tamworth. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, enabling them to live independently and with dignity.
Key Responsibilities- Provide support with household activities, including catering and cleaning, to ensure the comfort and well-being of our residents.
- Prioritize personal safety and risk management by using appropriate manual handling techniques and food safety practices.
- Support residents in community-based recreational and social activities, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
- Certificate II in Hospitality or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in a similar position, such as catering, kitchen-hand, or cleaning, or in community care.
- Adaptability, empathy, and resourcefulness, with a commitment to Uniting's values of compassion, respect, imagination, and boldness.
