About The Role

You will play a key role in implementing and managing quality assurance processes and systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain quality assurance protocols and standard operating procedures for the company's operations.
  • Perform internal audits and manage the audit schedule for the quality management system.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of seafood products to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
  • Support the management of product quality assessments for imported products, including sensory evaluation and label reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory requirements, including HACCP, GFSI, and other applicable standards.
  • Maintain product databases and update company specifications.
  • Communicate compliance requirements and updates to suppliers and customers.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Food Technology or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role within the food industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong experience working with customer-specific platforms.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of computer literacy, including Microsoft Office suite.
