Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop New Flavours: Create innovative and delicious cookie recipes that captivate customers and keep them coming back for more.
  • Bake & Decorate: Prepare, bake, and decorate cookies with precision and creativity, ensuring consistency and exceptional quality in every batch.
  • Manage Stock: Oversee inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, ensuring we are well-stocked and minimize waste.
  • Maintain Clean Environment: Keep the baking area and equipment clean and organized, following all health and safety regulations.
  • Monthly Specials: Design and implement monthly cookie specials that align with seasonal themes or trends.
  • Rotating Menu: Develop and manage a rotating menu of cookie flavours to offer variety and keep the customer experience fresh and exciting.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular checks to ensure all cookies meet high standards for taste, appearance, and freshness.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a baker, preferably with a focus on cookies.
  • Strong creative flair with a passion for developing new flavours and recipes.
  • Excellent knowledge of baking techniques and decoration skills.
  • Ability to manage inventory and ordering, as required.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
