We are looking for a Career Development Professional to join our team.

This role involves engaging with participants to help them overcome career challenges and develop the skills needed to achieve their employment goals. Our organization delivers services at multiple locations, but this position will be based in Preston.

As a member of our team, you will work collaboratively with colleagues who share our vision of well-being, independence, and opportunity for everyone. Your day-to-day activities will include:

  • Providing coaching sessions to participants, assessing their career needs, and creating personalized action plans.
  • Conducting assessments and helping clients identify their strengths, interests, and values to guide their employment goals.
  • Developing effective job search strategies, including resume writing and interview preparation, and referring participants through training, counselling, and other services to increase long-term employment outcomes.

To succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as experience in customer service, client-facing or administrative roles. You should also have time management and organizational skills, with the ability to plan and prioritize to achieve outcomes.
