We are seeking an experienced Space Systems Engineer to lead the systems design and implementation for our next-gen sentry spacecraft. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the space systems design and development process throughout the entire life-cycle, from concept to deployment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and oversight to ensure the successful design and implementation of space systems.
  • System Development: Develop and implement system-level designs, concepts, and analyses to support system development.
  • Requirements Development: Develop system-level and interface requirements to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
  • Concept of Operations: Develop concepts of operations (CONOPS) and support the development of system-level or mission-level analyses.
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess risks and develop mitigations throughout the system lifecycle.
  • Effective Communication: Collaborate and communicate effectively with both internal and external project stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Essential: 5+ years of experience working with space systems, experience defining requirements and executing verification plans, expertise in performing system-level trade studies, and proven experience leading technical teams in system-level reviews.
  • Desirable: Familiarity with mission design software (e.g., STK, GMAT), previous experience in a complex system engineering role within the aerospace industry, and proficiency with scientific tools in Python and/or C/C++ for design and performance analysis.
