Overview:

The Chaplain role presents a unique opportunity to provide spiritual guidance and support to our Middle School community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and lead key Chapel events, including the Sunday House Chapel services, annual Wadhurst Carol Service, and Chapel programme
  • Deliver spiritual content and pastoral care through weekly Bible readings, messages, prayers, and support for students, staff, and families in collaboration with the House system and Counselling team
  • Be an ordained Anglican Priest, with experience working in schools and teaching Religious Education and Philosophy
  • Demonstrated ability to provide effective leadership, including advanced spiritual and pastoral care leadership
  • University degree with at least a major in Theology and Religious Studies, and appropriate teacher training

VIT registration or the ability to gain this is essential for this position.
