About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join our National Contracts Team as a skilled Contracts Specialist.

You will play a pivotal role in the Contract Review & Management Process, particularly across our WA businesses. This critical position involves both pre- and post-tender responsibilities, including contract reviews, negotiations, and ensuring compliance with company policies and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review, negotiate, and execute supply contracts in accordance with risk management guidelines and company policies.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including Project Managers, Account Managers, Technical, Logistics, Operations, HSE, Customer Service, and Credit.
  • Support local businesses in delivering products and services in accordance with contractual obligations.
  • Identify and notify possible variations in line with agreements.
  • Optimize project processes by streamlining tasks and conducting root cause analysis.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with customers to ensure their satisfaction.
  • Foster positive relationships and effective communication with internal stakeholders.
  • Promote and lead a safety culture within the organization at all times.
Requirements
  • Degree in law, engineering, business, accounting, quantity surveying, project management or a related discipline.
  • Understanding of the construction industry.
  • Familiarity with common forms of supply contracts and agreements.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Google Apps, PDF software, and other relevant systems.
  • Strong commercial acumen and well-developed interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-focused with excellent communication abilities.
  • Ability to drive performance, cultivate relationships, and foster teamwork.
  • Knowledge of competition legislation, compliance requirements, and relevant industry directives.
