Job Summary
We are seeking a Health, Safety and Wellbeing Manager to lead our Resources and Industrial business for multiple operations across New South Wales. This role is responsible for shaping and growing our safety culture with a focus on care, trust, and inclusion.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with leaders and customers to develop and execute business and site plans
- Embed a risk-based approach with a focus on every day, critical, and psychosocial risks
- Coach and mentor leaders through a combination of site visits, facilitated training, and workshops
- Develop and maintain the system with a focus on risk, health, compliance, and customer expectations
- Manage serious incident investigations and regulatory notifications/interventions
- Measure and report on performance, trends, and outcomes
Requirements
- Leadership experience in safety, health, and wellbeing and/or other risk-based roles
- Deep and practical understanding of the risks unique to the transport, warehousing, and resources industry
- Commitment to personal development through formal education or other training programs
- Experience in facilitating workshops and leading incident investigations
- Working knowledge of work health and safety legislation
- Ability to develop and present results, plans, and updates to leadership teams and customers
