We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our Project and Program Delivery team in Brisbane. This role involves partnering with clients to increase their likelihood of success by addressing challenges in developing and delivering major infrastructure projects and programs of work.
Our team provides integrated project management, project controls, planning and design, contract compliance and assurance advice using data-driven tools and methodologies. We offer practical and reliable project support services, working closely with our clients to support their strategic infrastructure investments.
The ideal candidate will have experience in providing client-side or advisory project management, project controls or delivery services across infrastructure projects or capital-intensive industries.
They will be confident in developing, assessing, and managing key project elements such as cost, risk, planning, scheduling, and budgets. They should be able to review or lead programs of work, identify and manage risks, support project procurement, understand approvals, and provide project updates to stakeholders.
The successful candidate will also possess qualifications in Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or Project Management. Experience in a Project Management/Controls/Risk/Planning function with cost, risk, schedule, or change experiences is also essential.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and develop high-performing teams to deliver complex infrastructure projects
- Develop and implement project management plans, including cost, risk, and scheduling strategies
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop solutions to meet those needs
- Provide expert advice on project controls, planning, and design, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire high-performing teams
- Excellent project management skills, with experience in delivering complex infrastructure projects
- Proficiency in project management software, including MS Project, Primavera P6, and Asana
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
