Job Overview

Role Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Clinical Nurse Consultant. As a key member of our healthcare services, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical consultancy and services within a defined specialty.

You will undertake assessment and management of Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drugs (MHAOD) presentations to Emergency Department and provide advice and assessment to emergency services through a virtual mode.

The successful candidate will demonstrate leadership in promoting contemporary nursing / midwifery practice within the Mid North Coast Local Health District.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Essential Criteria

  • Registration as a Registered Nurse or Registered Midwife with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Current NSW driver's licence
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven leadership and problem-solving skills
