As an integral member of the Institute's team, you will contribute to the development and delivery of Information Technology units, including Artificial Intelligence at undergraduate and graduate levels. You will also be expected to contribute to the Institutes research course and administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, teach, coordinate, and moderate units in Information Technology;
- Undertake teaching and assessment of undergraduate and postgraduate students; and
- Conduct research activities.
About the Role
This position requires a creative thinker and avid problem-solver who possesses initiative, innovation, and a can-do attitude. You will work closely with the team to embed long and short-term research strategies for the Institute within the strategic framework of the University.
Requirements
- Lecturing and tutoring experience, particularly in the area of Artificial Intelligence;
- A capacity to teach units in Artificial Intelligence;
- A preparedness to undertake research and a capacity to develop an active research profile; and
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
The successful candidate will possess a strong educational background and a demonstrated ability to teach and conduct research in the field of Artificial Intelligence. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
We offer a competitive salary package, estimated to be around $108,257 p.a., plus up to 17% superannuation.
