Job Title

This is an opportunity to work as a junior solicitor in various legal services. The role will involve providing advice on legislation relevant to local government and general legal advice applicable to council operations.

The ideal candidate will have general practice legal experience, strong research skills, and the ability to draft clear, well-reasoned legal opinions. They will possess sound written communication skills and be confident preparing technical legal documents and reports.

A working knowledge of court procedures and the ability to appear in the magistrates court is essential. Experience or a willingness to develop expertise in local government, planning, development, property, and criminal law is highly desirable.

Requirements
