Surgical Operations Coordinator Position

This role involves managing the elective surgery waitlist in accordance with policy guidelines, overseeing front-line administrative services and guiding staff to ensure efficient administrative processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing a coordinated strategy for managing the elective surgery waitlist.
  • Leading and mentoring a team of administrators to achieve high performance standards.
  • Cultivating collaborative relationships with health professionals and stakeholders to enhance administrative services.
  • Maintaining accurate records using Microsoft Office applications, databases, and ICT infrastructure.
  • Exercising exceptional organisational skills, confidentiality and sensitivity.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in coordinating administrative services and managing teams.
  • Well-developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Current unrestricted drivers licence and ability to drive/travel as required.
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency, or ability to independently and legally live and work in Australia.
