Addiction Recovery Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Counsellor to join our multidisciplinary team and play a key role in providing high-quality care to individuals struggling with addiction.
This is an exciting opportunity to deliver face-to-face, video conferencing, and telephone counselling services, as well as engaging with internal and external stakeholders to support holistic client care.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering evidence-based interventions to promote positive behavioural change;
- Working closely with clients to support their recovery from alcohol and other drug use;
- Providing individualised support and guidance to empower clients to achieve their goals.
Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A Diploma of Alcohol and Other Drugs (mandatory);
- Experience working in Alcohol and Other Drugs;
- Four core AOD units desirable;
- Experience in Counselling and knowledge of modalities;
- Tertiary counselling qualification desirable;
- A current Employee Working with Children Check.
