Job Description

This is an opportunity to work as a Psychologist in a rural health setting. The successful candidate will deliver professional and independent evidence-based psychological treatment techniques and assessment procedures to a range of behavioural, emotional, addiction, psychosocial and health problems.

The role involves supporting recovery and quality of life goals for patients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary health care team, and participating in an inclusive, collaborative, and caring team environment.

The Psychologist will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of patients and contribute to the development of rural health services.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Registration as a Psychologist eligible to practice in Australia.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
