Job Description

Our mental health team is looking for a skilled clinician to work in rural and regional communities. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering holistic, person-centred and trauma-informed care to people with complex mental health needs.

They will work closely with families and carers, as well as collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan and deliver comprehensive mental health care.

This role focuses on adults with acute, complex or high needs and who may be difficult to engage in effective treatment and support.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Sound communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High level of professionalism and ability to manage a diverse workload

They must also hold a relevant Australian qualification as a Counsellor, Psychologist, Social Worker or Registered Nurse, or minimum a bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

About This Role

The Wagga Wagga CMHAOD team is the largest of six teams across Murrumbidgee LHD. We offer a range of services, including Youth Mental Health and collaboration with community organisations.
