At Bosch Rexroth, we are seeking a skilled Automation Engineering Technician to join our team in Kings Park, NSW. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong technical skills and passion for automation.

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Automation Engineering Technician to execute and complete Factory Automation (FA) jobs according to design specifications or customer requirements. Key responsibilities include:

  • Executing and completing FA jobs according to design specifications or customer requirements.
  • Traveling to external locations for job installations or troubleshooting & fixing, as per business requests.
  • Performing cutting, drilling, and tapping of Aluminium Extrusion Profile.
  • Carrying out tasks such as cutting, chamfering, polishing & grinding for Guide Rail, Ball screw, Solid shaft.
  • Creating Timber packaging that meets product packing requirements.
  • Assisting in other areas and job functions as needed, i.e., Maintenance, general machining tasks,
  • additional fixing requests.
  • Processing and regularly updating job progress.
  • Managing workload from various departments and prioritizing tasks in consultation with the team leaders.
  • E nsuring a clear and safe work environment is maintained as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proficiency in operating general tool room equipment, including surface grinder, chamfering grinder, drop saw, etc.
  • Highly motivated, results-focused and pays attention to detail.
  • Ability to read Manufacturing drawings.
  • Organized and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping and taking responsibility for the cleanliness and organization of the work area.
  • Forklift license preferred
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Willingness and ability to travel for work purposes.
  • Must be flexible, adaptable and able to work overtime when needed.
