About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Central Coast Council. As a key member of our Water and Sewer Project Delivery team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering water and sewer projects for the local community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely, cost-effective, and reliable delivery of water and sewerage operations, maintenance, and project activities in accordance with set performance and quality standards.
  • Prepare capital works programs, implement specific projects, and monitor assets and reporting functions.
  • Provide quality customer service and create value for the community.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or relevant discipline, or demonstrated equivalent qualifications and extensive experience.
  • Current Class C Driver's License.
  • Valid Construction General Induction Card - NSW WorkCover or equivalent.
  • Ability to produce high-quality work within established timeframes, including written work, customer service, and communication skills.
  • Experience in preparing contract documentation and specifications.
What We Offer
  • Salary range: $85,800 - $103,000 per annum, plus 11.5% Superannuation and 3.5% Civil Liability Allowance.
  • Permanent and temporary full-time positions available.
  • 9-day fortnight arrangement.
  • Hybrid and flexible working conditions.
  • Leaseback vehicle provided for official duties and private use.
