About the Role

The Project Manager will play a critical role in the successful delivery of each project by ensuring that the project stays on schedule, within budget, and meets quality standards. They will coordinate all aspects of the project, including planning, budgeting, procurement, stakeholder management, administration, and communicate effectively to keep the project running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of each project, from tender and planning to completion.
  • Ensure contract terms are fully executed, monitoring project progress against the contract program.
  • Work closely with and provide assistance to the Site Foreman and on-site teams as required.
  • Develop strong working relationships with the Sydney-based Project Management team.
  • Identify critical decisions and project milestones, by providing timely direction to key stakeholders.
  • Assist in the development and ongoing management of the project program.
  • Monitor and control the project budget, including cost reporting, forecasting, and invoicing.
  • Manage the procurement of trades and suppliers throughout the project, utilizing procurement schedules when necessary.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with all project stakeholders, including the site team, client, architect, subconsultant, contractors, and the community.
  • Update and maintain effective records in the project management system - IPM.
  • Facilitate continuous project risk assessment.
  • Provide project reporting as required.

About You

We are looking for a professional, qualified, and committed Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have:

Construction Management or Project Management Qualification / Bachelor or Masters of Architecture.Demonstrated experience in a similar role in residential construction, project management, or contract administration.Experience using project management software and Microsoft Office (e.g., Buildertrend, IPM, Project, Excel).Driver's license and own vehicle.White card.
