Job Title: Civil Road Tester

At Position Partners, we're seeking a skilled Civil Road Tester to join our team. As a key member of our survey crew, you'll be responsible for collecting and processing road survey data across various project sites in Australia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and process road survey data using advanced equipment and software.
  • Operate data-collection computers and equipment to collect pavement and video imaging data.
  • Perform basic data processing and assist with processing, checking, and management of collected roadway data.
  • Assist with equipment calibration, verification, validation, testing, and maintenance on survey equipment and sensors.
  • Drive and operate high-tech data collection vehicles mounted with various sensors to collect pavement and roadway data.
  • Comply with all OHSA and SYNERGY Quality procedures and policies.
  • Attend training programs to learn about upgrades and improvements to survey vehicles and equipment.
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license is essential.
  • Solid computer knowledge, including experience with MS Excel and Windows environments.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing circumstances.
Preferred Skills:
  • Electronics knowledge or background.
  • Mechanical knowledge or background.
  • Materials Testing or Civil engineering background.
  • Working knowledge of GIS applications.
  • Road Construction background highly regarded.
