Dynamic Occupational Therapist

Our team is seeking a skilled and dedicated occupational therapist to join our dynamic team.

This permanent part-time position offers an exciting opportunity to work with infants, children, and adolescents with a wide range of medical conditions.

About the Role:
  • Lead clinical practice across occupational therapy and drive a culture of curiosity and quality improvement.
  • Facilitate others in the delivery of evidence-based occupational therapy and translation of research into clinical practice.
  • Deliver quality improvement initiatives and generate research outputs.
  • Collaborate with occupational therapists, patients, families, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical expertise specific to infants, children, and adolescents, as well as the tertiary hospital setting.
  • Ability to analyze, critique, and synthesize data from sources to inform the development and implementation of a research strategy for occupational therapy services.
  • Highly developed leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate and negotiate with multiple stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Well-developed clinical research skills and a current National Criminal Record Check.
  • Valid Working with Children Check.
