About the Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to support and guide clients to attain suitable, meaningful employment opportunities that lead to sustainable outcomes.

You will use your customer service skills to build rapport with clients, assist them on their employment journey, and help them overcome barriers to employment.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders as part of managing the referral & intake process of job seekers into chosen programs.
  • Assess job seeker skills, abilities, and identify barriers and intervention strategies.
  • In consultation with our job seekers, develop and maintain work preparation strategies, job seeking strategies, tailored interventions (including other service providers), and employment support activities.
  • Reverse market job seekers to achieve sustainable employment opportunities.
  • Provide pre-employment assistance through vocational counseling, training, job search skills, and work trials/work experience to increase capacity for employment.
Requirements

You are self-driven, resilient, and experienced in customer service. You love a challenge, thrive in a dynamic pace, and have the ability to move agilely through your to-do list.

  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail in fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to use computer systems, with excellent data accuracy & note-taking.
  • Build rapport and maintain relationships with clients, peers, and job seekers.
  • Enjoy achieving KPIs – securing meaningful work for vulnerable individuals.
  • Hold a current NDIS Worker Screening check or be willing to obtain one.
