Job Title: Security Program Manager

The AWS Infrastructure Services team is responsible for designing, planning, delivering, and operating the company's global infrastructure. We are a diverse group of professionals who collaborate across AWS to deliver high standards for safety and security while providing scalable capacity at competitive costs for our customers.

We are seeking a highly talented and motivated Security Program Manager to join us. The role will oversee physical security design and installation of security features and systems, including Access Control, Intrusion Detection, Camera Surveillance, Passive and Active Barriers, and other security features consistent with AWS security standards and public sector contract requirements.

The successful candidate will have experience working with physical security design and/or implementation of electronic security systems such as Access Control Systems, Intrusion Detection Systems. Key responsibilities include:

  • Participating in physical security design and system installation for new data centers, data center expansions, and special projects
  • Providing project lifecycle management, including bid packages, specifications, drawings, code compliance, vendor management, budget, change orders, and close-out documentation
  • Managing vendor on-boarding, Request For Proposal/Request For Quote bidding, contracting, contract execution, QA/QC, and support processes
  • Effectively managing multi-million dollar project budgets, owning and tracking finance and budgeting processes for security programs and projects
  • Leading team acceptance, sign-off, and operational readiness validation for high-security facilities in conjunction with other teams
  • Reporting performance metrics such as physical security system installation vendor service delivery performance, actual spend vs. budget variance, cost reduction goal attainment, post-installation defect rates, physical security program analysis, etc.
  • Collaborating across teams to drive global, regional, and local security initiatives
  • Supporting Cluster Security Program Manager Team Lead by providing physical security analysis and recommending program enhancements to maximize security of assigned locations

This position involves some travel for project management and hand-off of completed projects to local security operations teams.
